LIBRARY TRUSTEES MEETINGS
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
For a period of fifteen minutes at the beginning of each regular or special meeting of library trustees, individual members of the public shall be permitted to address the trustees. At a regular meeting, individuals shall be allowed to speak on any subject. At a special meeting, individuals shall be allowed to speak on any subject listed on the agenda for the special meeting. The president of the library trustees shall have the authority to limit the time of any individual wishing to speak, and ensure that all appropriate rules are observed. The library trustees request that speakers refrain from any personal attacks. Individuals wishing to speak must sign their name and address and subject on which they wish to address the trustees on the sheet provided at the president’s place at the table prior to the 4:00 p.m. meeting start time.
