Shakespeare Assignment (Grade 9)
Due Date: Monday February 6, 2012

Assignment:

Students are required to use online databases, encyclopedia/journal entries, and hard copy references to write a research paper about one of the topics listed (see below). Along with the written assignment (3-5 pages in length) each student is required to give an oral presentation, with a visual, about his/her topic. Both assignments will be due on the date listed above.

Criteria for Assessment:

• 3-5 page research paper
• Typed
• Double-spaced
• “Times New Roman” 12 pt. font.
• 5 Sources Minimum
• 3 Online Sources (Journals, Database, Etc…) See links listed below.
• NO WIKIPEDIA
• 2 Print Sources (Hard Copy, Books, Encyclopedias, etc…)
• MLA Citations
  • THIS WILL BE REVIEWED IN CLASS
• Bibliography
• Oral Presentation
• A minimum of a 10 minute presentation including, but not limited to, the following:

• Visual (Poster, Diorama)
• Skit or Reenactment  
• Videos
• PowerPoint Presentation
