Library Computers, Wifi & Printing

The Athenaeum has 16 computer workstations and a quick printing station for adults on the main floor. There are also four computers for use by their intended audience in the Young Adult Department, and three in the Children’s Library. Free, high-speed wireless internet access is available from virtually anywhere in the Library itself and just outside the building. Wireless printing is available from patron devices for onsite or at home printing. Print jobs are retained in the system and can be retrieved for 24 hours.

Library computers are available to CWMARS library card holders in good standing. To make a reservation, use our onsite computer reservation station on the main floor or call the Reference Department at (413) 499-9480 ext. 202 during regular library hours. Out-of-state residents who are not eligible for a free library card can request a computer reservation at the Reference Desk; they will be required to present identification.

Scanning and printing can be done at any workstation on the main floor in the Reference Department. Jobs are sent to the copier located near the Reference Desk; bring your library card to the Print Release Station to locate and release your job. Printouts cost 10¢ per page, please pay with coins or small bills.
